Estimate statutory redundancy pay using your age, full years of service and average weekly pay. This version applies the current weekly pay cap of £751 for redundancies on or after 6 April 2026, based on GOV.UK guidance.
Statutory redundancy pay normally requires at least 2 years' continuous service. Only full years count, and service is capped at 20 years. Age bands use 0.5 week's pay under 22, 1 week's pay from 22 to 40, and 1.5 weeks' pay from 41 onwards.
This calculator works backwards across each full year of service, applies the statutory age band for that year, then multiplies the total weeks by your capped weekly pay.
